
This week, Chase County FCCLA hosted the District STAR Competition! 35 students from 7 schools competed for a chance to move on to State in Lincoln in April. All CCS students advance to State and our CCS President, Tristen S., qualified with a Gold Medal!







The 5th & 6th graders had a 100 piece puzzle competition on the "100th Day of School"!

STATE CHAMPS! Congratulations to the eSports team on an undefeated season and winning the State Championships in Division 3! Go Longhorns!


7th grade has started discussing chemical reactions and how giving things time to react can lead to very different results. To demonstrate that, they made pancakes and let the batter process for different times before cooking today.





The eSports team will be going to York tomorrow to compete for a State Championship!

Today, high school Art and Multicultural Club students joined a Chase County Arts Council meeting discussing the City of Imperial "Creative Arts District" application process and benefits. Thanks to MPCC for hosting!


Mrs. Maris brought her baby goats to school and taught the kids about them. 🐐The student had a great time. Thank you Mrs. Maris!







7th grade artists got to put their ceramic pieces to use today with a hot chocolate and tic-tac-toe party!





CCS 8th Graders spent the day at MPCC. They participated in the Career Exploration program. They also enjoyed a tour of North and South campus.




This young man absolutely loves to read and just hit 100 AR points!! Way to read and comprehend Simon!

Congratulations to 8th graders Cadence Lambert and Zoey Troxell who auditioned and were selected for the Wayne State College Middle School Honor Band. They spent the day rehearsing and will perform in concert this afternoon with the 100+ piece ensemble!
