All 9th and 10th grade students participated in an interactive career exploration event called Connecting the Dots.
During this event, students learned how to connect high school experiences with post-secondary education, training, and future career opportunities. The simulation included participation from local businesses, industries, post-secondary institutions, and military partners.
Student Council is hosting "Hot Cocoa with Parents" on Tuesday, December 17th!
5th-8th grade students are welcome to join but must be accompanied by an adult for this event. Coffee will also be available for adults. If you have questions, please email Ms. Connelly.

Today we celebrated GROWTH! Over 50 students in Grades 10, 11, and 12 improved their PreACT or ACT scores by 2+ points between spring and fall, some by as many as 6 or 8 points! Thanks to the Imperial Education Foundation for rewarding these students with $10 in Chamber bucks!

Spanish 2 students created custom maps with their "places in a city" vocabulary. Today, they practiced giving directions in Spanish and drove through their towns to find different locations!
Anatomy and Physiology are taking their exam over the muscular system today. To prepare for it, they dissected a chicken wing to connect the bones and muscles to the human body. They got to explore the types of bones, the musce fiber structures, and how muscle pairings work together to contract and relax.
