Congratulations to all of our 5th through 8th grade students who were Top Ten in their grade in ELA, Math or Science during Winter benchmark testing or Top Ten in Growth from the fall to winter. Not all students are pictured but their names are posted in the Commons. Great work!

Reminder: Tux rentals tomorrow (Wednesday) morning!

There will be no school for Chase County Schools on Tuesday March 4th due to the forecasted Blizzard.

Everyone is safe, but we wanted to make sure parents are aware that today at around 9:20am the school's fire alarm went off and students evacuated the building. The local fire department came in and checked the building before allowing students to re-enter. After an investigation we found that a fire pull was activated during a PE class where a ball hit the pull. We want to thank the staff, fire department, EMT's and local police for their quick response in keeping our students safe.

The Senior "Artist of the Week" is Joslyn Kimble! "Cow"-Acrylic, "Horse #1"-Pencil, "Flowers"-Oil Paint, "Horse #2"-Pen, "Looney Tunes"-Acrylic, "Gnome w/ Mushroom"-Ceramic. Congratulations, Joslyn, thank you for your dedication to art!

Have a great week!

REMINDER!
Join us this evening @5:30 to watch K-6 students showcase their show choir talents! Students have been doing amazing, you don’t want to miss it!
At the entrance, there is an opportunity to donate to the individuals hosting the camp. All proceeds will aid these gals in their travel expenses to Hawaii, where they will perform songs at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii’s oldest church, Kawaiaha’o Church, and more!

A few CCS students have been chosen by our local Freedom's Foundation chapter to travel to Washington D.C. and Valley Forge this spring. Some of those students are doing a breakfast burrito fundraiser to help pay for the trip expenses.
