
The optional ACT exam is being offered to seniors on Monday 11/4. Seniors not taking the exam will attend classes as normal. Remember to arrive to school on time, bring your charged computer, eat a good breakfast, get plenty of rest, and dress in layers. Good luck tomorrow!


Students in the Horticulture class in the Ag. Education program are learning about floral design. Their first project of the year was creating a fall center piece. More designs to come during the holidays!

Due to the road conditions, the CCS Buses will be running the "Snow Routes" tomorrow morning October 31st. Parents with rural route riders, please check your email for the map containing the pick up locations on these routes. Also if your child will not be riding, please don't forget to notify the CCS Bus Dispatch.


K-4 Parade of Costumes
Dress up is for K-4 Students ONLY. They can bring their costume to school and they will change after lunch. Parade of costumes is open to the public and will be in the Longhorn Gym at 2:30pm.


Physical science students are practicing their skills at measuring liquids. They are using graduated cylinders to make a rainbow by following a specific set of directions. If done with precision, they will make an even rainbow!







We'd like to take a moment to thank Wolf Auto for selecting Chase County Schools to be part of the 2024 Chevy Back to School Program! Through this program, Wolf Auto was able to select any school in the community to sponsor. Chase County Schools accepted the generous offer and received a $500 sponsorship check!

Chemistry students practice their skills in measuring density, calculating with significant figures, improving their accuracy, and determining the thickness of a sheet of aluminum foil using the denisty of aluminum.





The Longhorns compete in the Final Match of Volleyball Subdistricts tonight. Let's pack the bleachers and cheer loud for our Horns!

Chase County Schools will be hosting subdistrict volleyball. This is a NSAA event so no passes will be accepted. Cost is $5 Student, $6 Adult. Hope to see everyone there tonight to cheer on the Lady Longhorns and give a home court advantage.


It's a busy week with the Book Fair and hosting subdistrict volleyball!


Imperial FFA members toured Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY on Thursday. Today they hear Dr. Temple Grandin, world renowned livestock specialist, attend the Agricultural Career show and watch finals in the Parliamentary Procedure competition. .


CCS JAG leadership team spent the day at the JAG State Leadership Conference. They learned about effective leadership qualities, communication, and how to grow as a leader.
