During Lent, tuna salad will be offered on the salad bar for lunch on Fridays.

The JH Track meeting for parents and student athletes will be Monday March 24th in the auditorium at 3:30 pm. Practice will begin Wednesday 26th.
Before a student athlete will be able to begin practicing they must have:
1. Current physical on file 2013-2014 school year
2. Parental Consent Form
3. Emergency Medical Authorization form on file
4. Impact test from 2013-2014 school year

Changing the World – One Pair at a Time® The Chase County Schools FCCLA Chapter is again hosting a Soles4Souls shoe drive from February 10 through the end of March. Soles4Souls collects shoes to give relief to the victims of abject suffering and collects used shoes to support micro-business efforts to eradicate poverty. Soles4Souls has a simple concept: we procure shoes and get them to those in need. **Drop your new or used shoes in the giant tennis shoe located in the school lobby or in the collection box located in the main office entry. Thank you for your contributions!
Youths up to age 18 are invited to participate in the annual Lions youth talent contest in Grant on Sunday, April 6, at the New Life Fellowship Church, 617 West 4th St. Start time will be 3 p.m. Entry forms are now available in the school office or at The Imperial Republican. Youths can participate in both solo and group divisions by their age as of July 1, 2013. There is no entry fee. Additional rules will be attached to the entry forms. Entries are due April 2. Questions can be directed to Jan Schultz in Imperial, 308-882-5414, or Lissa Schroder in Grant, 308-352-6855. The contest is co-sponsored by the Imperial and Grant Lions Clubs.
